NPR's planet money used the original version of "Royals" as closing music for its coverage of the Wall Street banker secret society coverage, but otherwise I'd never heard of the song or artist.
I usually quite like this post-modern jukebox cover band though — their arrangements actually make a lot of pop music somewhat bearable (and even fun).
