Still....what went right? What counties came down heavily "for," in the Percent Vote column? A map....
Green is 4% and above, Yellow is 3-3.99%, White is 1.5-2.99%, and Red is less than 1.49%. (Click the map to enlarge)So, pretty good in the southern coastal areas (Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, etc.), in the liberal part of the central Piedmont (Durham-Chapel Hill-Greensboro), and generally best of all in the mountains, especially Buncombe County (Asheville).
Tomorrow: Same Map by Total Votes, not Percent Votes....Stay Tuned!
Is there a way to break it down demographically? i.e. race, education, etc.
ReplyDeleteA bit of NC knowledge suggests a positive correlation with education and a negative correlation with black share of the population.
ReplyDeleteI would very interested in the Particular Vote. By that I mean to eliminate everybody who voted straight-ticket. How did the more thougtful people vote?
ReplyDeleteso this is the real number? for a time I wanted to know this, but now I see that is totally useless, because no matter the try, the result will be the same all the time.
