WTF indeed. I wonder if Kal Penn wanted off the show, or if the producers wanted him off. Either way, I was genuinely shocked. Usually it's "House sticks a steak knife in an electrical socket, but he's not really dead," "House gets shot, but he's not really dead," "13 gets dosed up with every medicine known to man by a hostage taker, but don't worry, she doesn't die." This was unforeseen, and sudden. Crazy.
