I've been to the University of Colorado, Boulder. If they tell the girls they can't go out dressed as members of an "over-sexualized culture," those classrooms will be exactly half empty tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteIndignant Duke students and faculty have managed to contrive controversies over "Pocahotness" a few years ago and "Viva Mexico" before that, so this nonsense sounds pretty familiar.

ReplyDeleteRather blatant, "content based discrimination" (not to mention vague). The article doesn't say what the school plans to do to those who disobey; if it's anything more severe than a frown, they'll be blasted in court.
