Here's the top view. The slanty panels are solar for hot water and to provide all the electricity needed for the house (clic the pics for more detailed images).
We like how plantings can rise right up through the architecture.
Here's the front:
and the back:
The big window is 9 ft x 14 ft.

I hope you are not planning on "Rent Seeking" with those Solar panels.
Oh baby! 30% Federal Tax credit, 10% State Tax credit, plus the electric company will buy our excess power at a higher rate than they will sell us power!
I am jealous as fvck.
Those walls at crazy angles may look good on the plans.....but living in it will be a little different. I bet that like all architect designed buildings the roof will leak.
It's pretty, but:
At one time I worked in a building with angled walls -- really tough to fit normal furniture & lots of wasted space as a result.
I've never seen a flat roof that didn't have problems.
Good luck.
SfW and COLOCOMMENT: there is only 1 room in the house with an angled interior wall (and that angle is not severe). Pretty much every house in Santa Fe has a flat roof. It's actually required in our development.
What a great source for everything roofing. Really saved me from research on the internet. I will definitely come back. Thanks for all the hard work keeping it updated.
