The Wisdom of Paul H. Krugman

Feast your eyes people:

"It really does now look like President Donald J. Trump, and markets are plunging. When might we expect them to recover?

Frankly, I find it hard to care much, even though this is my specialty. The disaster for America and the world has so many aspects that the economic ramifications are way down my list of things to fear.

Still, I guess people want an answer: If the question is when markets will recover, a first-pass answer is never."

Oh my. Looks like Paul caught a bad case of Wolfers-itis.

Oh, or maybe Paul, the opposite of never, like when the exchanges opened Wednesday morning?

As of 3:30 EST Dow is up 1.5%.

Markets improved after his spokesman said he was walking away from his policy of building a new force to get rid of undocumented immigrants.

In other words they now believe he was lying about most of his policy.
