Dems at Defcon 1
Interesting article (read the update, too!).
The gist is that most early voters are registered Dems, which I have heard also, and thought strange. BUT.... Dem Party internal polls show that these early voting "Dems" are overwhelmingly voting Republican, in some cases nearly straight ticket Republican.
Hence, DemCon 1.

Though, as with all polls, one has to be very skeptical of the "results". If you click through to the link above and then read the comments, there is one thread from Heidi...apparently an OFA caller who is quite candid about lying to change the phone polling results.
I thought that went without saying, so I didn't say it.
Still, the premise of the article is that the DEMS believe it.
Of course it could just be a silly rumor. This is the internet.
Or maybe it's a (desparate) attempt to spread disinformation to discount early Dem voting in an effort to stem reactionary bandwagon joiners for the GOP.
But probably not.
