Perhaps not the most felicitous metaphor...but it was heartfelt.
Re Beverly "Govnah Dumplin" Perdue deciding not to seek reelection: the very smart and comely Laura Leslie came over to the house for a bit. We got to talk politics on the back porch, with Hobo the Wonder Dog sniffing the camera.

I don't know why, but whenever I hear you on Econtalk I assume you have a majestic mustache.
There are many more boils needing lancing.
Wow, I read that headline as "Lance the Ball". I thought it was going to be a rehash of Chael Sonnen saying that Lance Armstrong gave himself cancer. That seemed off topic even for this blog.

"Lance the boil!" Oh, what a lovely turn of phrase! Indeed, what a rancid susupporation Gov. Perdue was, especially when she suggested postponing elections! Thank you, Prof. Munger, for brightening up the day just a little bit.
We have such a long road ahead of us, up a steep incline, to get rid of PPACA (if it's indeed possible at all, at this point...) Your cheerful candor, bluntness, are a breath of fresh air to drive out statist putrefaction.
