The Gorge
Visited the Columbia Gorge with my sister Kathy. Here is a view of Multnomah Falls....a short movie.
Kathy and I got to see some pretty impressive parts of the gorge. This slot canyon was completely blocked with a log jam. Looked like something from Lord of the Rings.

While in Portland on business, one of my coworkers suggested visiting Multnomah falls, but I wasn't sure that going to look at water under the effect of gravity was a good trade for a couple hours of getting to know the local brews a little better.
Turns out it was totally worth it, it's a gorgeous view. Did you hike to the top?
Kathy is MUCH better looking than her brother.
Went up part way. It was beautiful, as you say. Hiked some other, smaller falls all the way up. Multnomah is such a mob scene.
And, Anon, yes, she is, but then that's a pretty low standard!
