So, in Hong Kong, there are protests FOR democracy.
While in Colorado there are protests AGAINST it. Interesting that when the left disagrees with the majority, then it's protest time.

The work "democracy" is so weird. Sometimes it refers to the edicts of The Authoritarian State. Sometime it refers to a bulwark against The Authoritarian State. It's no wonder that people can be both for and against it.
Not obvious from the article, the other change the new school board is promoting is basing teacher pay on performance rather than simply number of years on the job and education. There's some evidence this is the real issue, though "censoring history" goes over better in the protests.
