Perfect

A venn diagram. It pretty much says it all.

I would change the wording to "Large corporations lobby for the government to have more power, and in return the government enacts laws giving large corporations more power."

The diagram's missing the corollaries. The left side should read "Large corporations have way too much power. Therefore, the government should have more power." The right side should read "The government has way too much power. Therefore the government should have less power."

Increases the contrast just a bit.

The tea party is also upset that gay people and scientists exist.

Nice Diagram, but I'm confused. Does this indicate that the Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street have something in common, and fighting for the same thing on two different fronts, or that they're at opposing ends of the spectrum?

To say that this is an oversimplification of the matter is a gross understatement.

OWS is upset that anyone except them exists. [Well, except that they need someone to give them stuff, so they would like to keep the government and Santa Claus but get rid of all those icky rich people and any part of the 99% that doesn't agree with them. I'm not sure how the expect that to work, but then they're not all that clear on a lot of stuff.]
