Say what?

After the results of the Wisconsin recall were in, Obama for America-Wisconsin released a statement that said in part:

"While tonight’s outcome was not what we had hoped for – no one can dispute the strong message sent to Governor Walker.

Well, since he beat the same guy by a bigger margin than he beat him in 2010, I guess that the message would have to be, what, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK?

Not sure that's the exact "strong message" the Dems were looking for.

Oh, not so fast, Captain. The Walker win notwithstanding, the exit polls showed Obama clearly beating Romney in November. Take that!

Oh yeah, those same exit polls showed the recall election as a tight race with Barret possibly winning.

- Never mind.

The message from my perch is that strong turnout = Walker landslide.

I found the result quite shocking. All five Republican candidates trounced the opposition.

In other news, I haven't had a robocall in more than 24 hours.

Actually, it looks like the Demos took back the Senate. Good for them.

Ha! According to the Washington Post, the vote for union members split 70-30 against Walker. However, the vote for individuals living in a union member household split 50-50.

I don't know what to make of that, yet.
