(Nod to KL, who should go to Paulville. And get asked the three questions: what is his name? And his quest. And his favorite color.)

Is this a joke? Please tell me it's a joke. Pleeeease. I somehow had the idea that liberalism/libertarianism is about respecting other people's opinions/lifestyles. Must have gotten it wrong.
Guess I made a little leap here, thanks for pointing that out. I thought that when you respect other opinions you would also be interested in hearing them. Discussions tend to become pretty boring when there's no disagreement. Hell, it sounds like I have more disagreement with myself than we'll find among those Paulville-ites.
Christoph, I think the problem is that in a non-libertarian place, ideas aren't respected/tolerated. I would argue that, aside from maybe a couple of dictators, no one is able to live by their beliefs. It hasn't always been that way and it doesn't have to be that way forever.
In a Libertarian society there would be plenty of disagreement, just more about success and innovation than politics or rights.
well if someone want to live completely in freedom, then do it, I don't see any problem in this, of course that freedom have a price and I don't think that price will be low.
This sis truth I agree with Mungowitz because I think all things are based on respecting people's opinions and likes it doesn't matter if it is something we consider is stupid.

I'm missing something.
I think this is a fine idea. Glad someone wants to develop a community of like-minded people.
Small voluntary communities are indeed an important part of core libertarian ideology.
What I don't see is where anyone's lifestyle or opinion is being disrespected. I would LIKE to have a bar like "Cheers."
