O Tannenbaum
Mrs. Angus and I wait til just before Christmas and buy a live tree which we plant afterwards. Today was the day and we got an awesome Blue Atlas Cedar. Here's the before and after:
It's beginning to look at lot like Christmas at Chez Angus.
One thing we did at our wedding that in hindsight was a great idea was to give all of our guests little tiny sapling pine trees. Many of them planted the trees at their homes, and now years later when we visit friends & family, we see "our" trees growing larger with each passing year. The only downside is that it was harder than you might expect to find such small trees, and I only happened to get them because I caught a forestry service employee in a good mood one day.

Nice wood floor. Cherry?
Stephen: Yes it's a very Charlie Brown kind of tree.
Bill: thanks, it's Brazilian "koa", self-installed
