Twin Gone Bad

I think this woman must be from Betty's family, in New Hampshire. Betty is clearly the black sheep. Still, you can likely see the resemblance. Both ladies are equally attractive....

According to Betty's older sister:

"In the opinion of this Democrat, Free Staters [explanation] are the single biggest threat the state is facing today. There is, legally, nothing we can do to prevent them from moving here to take over the state, which is their openly stated goal. In this country you can move anywhere you choose and they have that same right. What we can do is to make the environment here so unwelcoming that some will choose not to come, and some may actually leave. One way is to pass measures that will restrict the 'freedoms' that they think they will find here. Another is to shine the bright light of publicity on who they are and why they are coming."

Nod to Aubrey A.

Wow! They say beauty (& ugly) is skin deep, but here we have Cynthia Chase where ugly goes down not just to the bone, but into the soul.

On t'other hand, if "people wanting freedom" is the biggest threat they have in New Hampshire, it must be a very sunny place, indeed. -- ? -- Nah, that can't be right: Cynthia Chase is there.

Let me get this straight. The Free State opposition wants to publicize the free state movement, a tiny libertarian sect with which very few people have the good fortune to be familiar, and simultaneously inform them that the government will reduce freedoms? Thank You Miss Chase!!!

Must be something in the NH air. I remember nearly 30 years ago, when Dartmouth convened a Symposium on "Tolerance of Diversity of Opinion." Hundreds of Students packed Webster Hall to give speeches denouncing the vandalism of anti-apartheid shanties on the Green. One student used his time to raise the option of "constructive engagement," as opposed to divestment from South Africa. His microphone was ordered turned off by the professor in charge. When I asked the professor how he justified censoring a diverse opinion in a symposium dedicated to just that, he explained that sometimes a view is so far beyond the pale that the person does not have the right to express it.
Munger, I'll bet you a Duck no-one calls out this two-bit legislator for her expressly anti-American rhetoric.

What a simply monstrous thing to declare.

I am sick of certain kinds of people moving in to my neighborhood because they think its nice here, that's why I'm going to start a perpetual tire bonfire in my driveway.

More politically correct jurisdictions just hire planners to update their development codes for livability.

Problem solved.
