The PPACA has a combination of:
1) Subsidies for the sick, paid for by the healthy; 2) Subsidies for the poor, paid for by the middle class and high income; 3) Subsidies for the not-quite-in-Medicare old, paid for by the young and those on Medicare.
Making the young pay for their elders in 3) seems the least justified.
