Sometimes punishing each child individually is just too time consuming.
Perhaps they expressed doubts about the "public option"
It looks like a scientific "demonstration". Obviously, running over fingers on a hard surface would cause serious damage and pain. On sand, one should feel pressure, but no pain. Of course, this would never work in the US!

That is definitely a tarp. And also seriously wtf.
Apparently it was a demonstration of skills the kids had learnt in karate class.

The government has banned such stunts in the future, but I couldn't find out if any of the children were hurt, or if motorcycle dude was arrested.
