President to Sign Indefinite Detention Bill
He is going to sign the thing.
He is not capable of telling the truth, because he literally cannot tell true statements from falsehoods. His speeches are just applause lines strung together.
I give you... George Hussein Busbama!
UPDATE: My friend Stefan D has this quip, on FB--"Well it's not like the detention is forever...it's just indefinite. I would think the detainees would enjoy the guessing..."Will I get out tomorrow?" Every day is like Christmas Eve."

The only reason he threatened to veto it at all was because it might have limited his power in some way.
We truly live in Orwellian times.
Just detention? That's all?
Dare I hope that the new authority repeals his long standing authority to KILL anybody he wants to? Ref SJ Res 23 to whit "the President is authorized to use all necessary and appropriate force against ... persons he determines..."
I started calling him Barack W. Nixon a while back.
Including Americans in this law makes perfect sense. Obama has always rejected the concept of American exceptionalism. We're just another country, no different from Brazil or Belgium. So why should we treat American citizens any differently than citizens of every other country?
Rejected the concept of American exceptionalism...right, because that never makes any sense...so will he be accepting foreign challengers for the presidency in 2012 then?
