28-2, baby!!!!

Got to be real nice to Mrs. Angus now, 'cause the NBA owners just voted overwhemingly (28-2) to approve the relocation of the Sonics to OKC! The owners who voted now were Mark Cuban (who owns the team closest to OKC) and Paul Allen (a Pacific Northwest icon).

wait just a damn minute. Pac NW icon? How about, useta be owner, and feels he had a commitment that the team would stay there when he sold it, and he's trying to get a judge to unwind the deal so he can get it back? when you give us a story, give us the whole story! dave.s.

As far as I know, Paul Allen owns the Portland Trailblazers and Seattle Seahawks. The Starbucks guy, Howard Schultz, is the guy who sold the Sonics to Clay Bennett and the OKC gang. He don't get to vote 'cause he's not an owner.

How do you tell when a sports league jumps the shark?

It lands in Oklahoma City.

Lol, good ole' DD. All of his opinions are bollocks, why should this one be any different??

The word "City" in "Oklahoma City" serves the same purpose as the word "science" in "political science".

Lol, so I am getting roughed up about a place where I do not live (I live in Norman, not OKC) nor especially like, by DD and biodoof (a lovematch if I've ever seen one). That pretty much makes me want to curl up in the fetal position and cry myself to sleep.
