I would add philosophy, history, poli-sci, botany, and sociology.
I don't think History or Philosophy are worthless. Sociology and Poli Sci...sure.
Mechanical engineering and chemistry are in there?
And if animal science leads to veterinary medicine, especially large animal vets, those jobs are _very_ much in demand. There's a shortage of farm vets right now, and since people like eating healthy animals, not diseased ones, that's kind of not worthless.
