Vote Compass? Maybe Biased?

Vote Compass: Like the World's Smallest Political Quiz, a way of telling which ideology is "closest" to your views.

Or, perhaps not? Perhaps statistically biased? Pretty serious charge, if true...

I consider myself a small l libertarian (and moving towards the big L), and I'm barely beating the conservative party on economic issues.

There's no way Canada's conservative party is more conservative than me on taxes and the size of government.

I'm so disillusioned that the Canadian version of NPR might bias its ideology test to the left!

I found at least one source of bias. If you say you're for less spending on "defence," whatever that is, it's considered a liberal position on economic issues.
